We asked a local where to eat. They did not hesitate to call this place out as a top contender amongst a sea of establishments staples. I can honestly say I would eat there at least once a day if I lived there. Sauces where phenomenal. Meats and tofu were both seasoned perfectly and cooked to textural perfection. I am so jealous that I do not live closer!

We love Maepole!! We have several food sensitivities and we try to eat healthy and make most meals at home from scratch. It’s so challenging to find healthy, allergen friendly food at restaurants, so we went without for a long time. I was elated to find Maepole! Delicious and flavorful whole food that feels good to feed our bodies! It’s also an amazing value, especially compared to most fast food options. Another added plus is how thoughtfully they select all the materials in the plates and silverware-everything is compostable or recyclable. So awesome!
My family was visiting UGA for orientation, and my daughter had heard about Maepole. It is quick and healthy food, similar to a healthy Mediterranean style restaurant chain you may have near you. Everything we selected was fresh and well prepared. There was even a sufficient amount of food that we all left a little in our bowls. Highly recommend!
We only recently discovered MAEPOLE . We were looking for a place that serves good, clean, healthy choices. Our doctor told us we need to eat healthier . MAEPOLE was a great alternative to ordering delivery. Their service is good and fast. But I was so happy their food is good too. You can’t go wrong here. Their menu choices are simple and easy to order from. We will continue to order from MAEPOLE 😍
I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was!! We went here to have a quick lunch and it was the perfect choice with a blend of meat eaters and vegans in our group. The food and the sugarcane sodas were SO good. I finished my entire bowl. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in Athens!
The kale salad was great, and they have a fun soda/drink selection! Good sauces. The mac n cheese was not my fav, noodles taste healthy lol
We really enjoyed a late lunch date at Maepole. We ate around 1:30-2pm and there was plenty of seating. We’re in the middle of a heat advisory, but the patio is shaded and has fans and so we had a lovely time eating outside. Dish 1: Sweet potato, Mac n’ cheese, broccoli and beef Dish 2: Brown rice, Mac n’ cheese, green beans and chicken Favorite elements - sweet potato, beef, Mac n’ cheese The brown rice was a little bland, but that’s probably for the best once you add the sauce! I prefer my vegetables to be cooked a little longer, but my husband said the broccoli was perfect for dipping in Ranch. Will we be back? Absolutely! And probably with a dog - love the patio atmosphere.
